L&M Engines LM2000 – 5.0L Coyote Sleeved Short Block
The next step in our Coyote race engine program is removing the standard straight wall sleeves and replacing them with our custom designed flanged extra thick sleeves, removing a critical weak point of the Coyote engine block’s design. Our sleeves combined with our custom pistons and Manley Pro I Beam billet rods create a potent and stout setup. For high power applications we recommend having our head bolt modification to eliminate cracking in the valley by the knock sensors.

New Ford 5.0L Coyote Block
All new builds start with a fresh or seasoned 5.0L Coyote block directly from Ford. With the LM2000 we take this a step further by removing the stock sleeves and replacing them with our flanged sleeve design.
New Ford 5.0L Boss Crankshaft
Same crankshaft used in the BOSS 302 and 2016 Cobra Jet; Forged 4130 Steel.
